Scandal: a JxC list in Córdoba included a woman who passed by in February

A scandal broke out in the province of Córdoba, when in the town of Salsipuedes, a list of councilors from Together for Change (JxC) concluded the presence of a woman who had months ago. The Justice discovered that the documentation provided the falsity of your signature.

The Electoral Board detected it last Saturday, thus preventing the list from reaching the elections on June 25. This Monday, the justice of the peace, Carlos CingolaniHe appeared before the Civil Registry to request the report corresponding to Ramos, who appeared on the payroll, and thus confirmed that the radical militant, who had been a candidate in previous elections, had indeed died.

The magistrate warned: “The documentation presented by JxC obtained the acceptance of the position with the supposed signature of the woman, which was verified to be forged, and the photocopy of the already non-existent DNIthat the proxies of radicalism probably had from previous elections”.

And he added that “an electoral crime was not constituted because the irregularity was resolved by the Electoral Board and the list was not proclaimed”, although he assured that “falsifying your signature constitutes a felony”.

Given this, the Electoral Board modified the list of Together for Change, and the last line of substitute councilors appears empty in the minutes of the candidacies, since the name of Ramos was eliminated, and due to compliance with the corresponding term, the coalition could not replace it.

For their part, Ramos’s relatives were surprised by what happened. When contacted by local media, the sister of the deceased assured that she found out what happened when she was contacted by the Unión Vecinal Salsipuedes (UVS) party of the ruling party.

“They asked me if I was sure if my sister was dead. I don’t know what happened, someone had to have signed that list. The whole town knew about his death, how could the party not know? Nobody from JxC gave me explanations”he said in dialogue with the local media All Cordoba.
