Sea Ray SLX 260: a sport boat with its own power

The SLX 260 it’s the first sea ray developed for youn exclusively female team. The new model was created under the leadership of the company’s director of design, Carrie Fodor, and industrial designer Kristin McGinnis of Brunswick Boat Group. In developing this ship, the team was inspired by feedback from Sea Ray boat owners, as well as elements of architecture, art and nature. The objective was to create a boat that would do its job better, condition more functional spaces and out Easier to use than its predecessor, the SLX 250. To this end, the SLX 260 has been fitted with a more tuned V hullwhich means that the wave passes better and the boat moves faster with the same power.
Coming aboard to starboard through the swim platform, our gaze is focused on aft sundeckwhose basis you can get upA. Underneath is a housing where you can keep your caught fish and bait alive. Right next to it, on the port side, there is a very deep space where you can stow a life raft or water toys.

If we open the sofa seat in front of the solarium, we see a fiber bins, which in this case has been used in a very practical way to store life jackets. When we remove the box, the machine room, Where are the batteries and the fuel tank, among other things.
We continued to look for storage space and soon found it in the starboard seat, the base of which can be raised. That’s exactly where two Sea Ray cooler bags fit, underneath which you can stow a good amount of provisions for a day in the sun.
As we move through the boat, we notice that the layout is spacious. From the stern gangway you can easily access the cockpit, slightly lower on the starboard side, and walk to the open bow without obstacles. By closing the central windshield window and the door at the bottom, those in the cockpit are perfectly a shelter from the wind. Behind the windshield there are two luxurious seats, for the skipper and the passenger. In the console on which the windshield rests on the port side, there is an enclosed space in which a chemical toilet can be placed.
He finish of the interior is tasteful and detailed, with beautiful upholstery seam in sand and dark brown. we discovered folding armrests is the endorsements of the two padded seats in the open bow, cup holders with drains in the places where they are most used and practical little storage compartments where possible.
