Technology entrepreneurs to exhibit at the Tech Bazaar at Expocentro

SAN PEDRO SULA. The Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Cortes, through the Saturday Bazaar platform, will hold the first edition of the ¨Bazar Tech¨ to promote entrepreneurs who offer initiatives, projects or technological and innovative solutions.

This coming Saturday, February 25 at the Expocentro facilities, the exhibition will be held from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. This project is supported by the Inter-American Development Bank IDB and the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana Unitec through the Tech4Dev project.

Melissa Faraj, Director of the Saturday Bazaar, organizer of this event, reported that, given the need for technology entrepreneurs to make themselves known, this space arose so that young programmers, marketing agencies, hackers, gamers, information technology and telecommunications agencies, among others, also have a platform where they can present their projects to entrepreneurs and the general public.

¨Simultaneously to the Saturday Bazaar this Saturday 25th there will also be the Tech Bazaar with technological entrepreneurs. We are very excited because it is a very important sector that requires a lot of support and visibility. What we are looking for is to promote the projects and solutions that Hondurans are creating in the digital segment that can be very useful and beneficial for companies,” said Faraj.

In addition, several technological activities will be developed for all visitors.

DETAILS

The hours of the Tech Bazaar will be from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, like the Saturday Bazaar every Saturday, the entrance and parking are free.

Banco Ficohsa will be awarding the two most innovative entrepreneurs with a capital of L20 thousand and L10 thousand respectively.
