The forceful message of Chiqui Tapia about the continuity of Mascherano in the Sub 20 Selection

The Argentina Sub 20 team, led by Javier Mascherano, was eliminated early in the South American that takes place in Colombia and did not qualify for the Pan American in Chile and the World Cup in Indonesia.

Paraguay was their first executioner in their debut, then they lost against Brazil, beat Peru and lost again to Colombia, where they finally said goodbye to the tournament.

“There is not much to think about, obviously thank everyone, the president (Tapia) for the opportunity, the clubs because they have always given us a hand, they have given us the players, we have bothered them a lot throughout the year and in this preparation and they have always given us players. There are no excuses, the one who failed is me and I have to take charge”, Mascherano said after the match.

However this Sunday claudio chiki Tapia expressed his support for the little boss. In a photo that he posted on Twitter, the president of the AFA published: “Today I was in Ezeiza to receive our U-20 team headed by their coach Javier Mascherano. The National Teams project, beyond the results, is the path we have chosen and the path we all want to take. We will continue sowing to reap”.

In this way, we will have to wait for official confirmation, but everything indicates that Javier Mascherano could continue in charge of the youth team.
