The harsh phrase of the DT of Colón about the continuity of Pulga Rodríguez: “It is not in my head”

This Thursday, a few hours before embarking on a trip to Uruguay to carry out the final part of the preseason, Marcelo Saralegui, the DT of Colón, spoke at a press conference about the future of Luis Miguel Rodríguez.

The flea weeks ago he made it known that he did not want to continue in the sabalero and just today he joined the training sessions with the rest of the squad.

In this regard, the Uruguayan coach was blunt: “At the moment It is not in my head, because a long time ago he announced that he did not want to continue in the club and nobody communicated otherwise. We continue on our way and armed with the team“, he stated.

“He showed up to train by contract. I would like his situation to be regularized, be it for one side or the other, the Board of Directors is still in contact with him and we continue on our way to Uruguay”, added Saralegui.

And then he continued: “There are names on the table for whom we are working that play in their place and I cannot go back. Due to poor or little communication, unfortunately I have to continue.”

“I can’t take it into account because I already planned. What I want as a coach, as a person, is for his situation to be resolved because we cannot have a player in conflict with the institution. I didn’t stop planning. The workouts came out over a month ago. I need your situation to be fixed in the best possible way“, closed Saraga.

In recent days, a light of hope had been generated around the continuity of Pulga Rodríguez in Colón, but These statements by the coach seem to close the doors definitively.
