The heat broke a new record on Monday

The head of the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE), walter martel, said this Tuesday that on March 13 there was a new historical demand record in the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI) with 29,089 MW. Friday the 10th had been the last record of that magnitude with 28,562 MW.

Due to the permanent cuts and the lack of business response, Martello stated via social networks: “The ENRE will submit a technical report to the Honorable Congress of the Nation, in the course of the next 90 days, to evaluate the possible expiration of the concession of the company EDESUR SA”. The official had already requested that the state intervene in the company to manage the electrical spectrum.
