The return of the “Emperor”: Julio César Falcioni was announced as the new DT of Banfield

This Tuesday, the president of Banfield, edward spinosaannounced that the Institution reached an agreement with Julius Caesar Falcionito be the new manager of Drill.

The emperor will sign a contract until December 2024 replacing Javier Sanguinetti, and will carry out his fifth cycle as manager of the southern club. Falcioni will be accompanied by Julio Barraza as field assistant.

The brand new DT to become champion of the Apertura 2009 tournament, title that stands out as the first in the history of the club and the first in his own career as a coach.

Julio César Falcioni, who since his last time in the South led Independiente and Colón on two occasions, will have his fifth stay in Banfield. The first occurred between 2003 and 2006the second between 2009 and 2010, where he got his only title at the club, the third among 2016 and 2018 and the fourth between 2019 and 2020.
