The necessary equipment for pejerrey fishing in this case does not escape the traditional ones, preferably a powerful rod from 4 to 4.50 meterssince fishing generally takes place at a considerable distance from the boat, and this makes it necessary to be able to nail effectively at a great distance. Frontal or rotating spools, loaded with multifilament from 0.12 to 0.20 mm, which has the advantage of giving us an effective dunk due to its quality of not stretching or sinking. The diameter varies more than anything due to the weather, with wind, thickening can provide us with better comfort and less opportunity for entanglements. Three buoy rigs are used, generally large for, as we said, seeing at a distance. Depending on the length of the rod, it is the separation that we must leave between the buoys.
