Tomás Sosa, the Cordovan judoka who seeks help to compete at a high level

Tomas Sosa he is a young man from Córdoba 22 years who has become a leading figure in the judo worldrepresenting Argentina in many national and international competitions. Currently, it is part of the National Judo Team and competes in the Senior category (73 kilos).

Every monthTomás travels to Buenos Aires for at least ten days to train in it National Center for High Performance Sports (CeNARD), where together with their classmates they prepare for the competitions. “We have a very good relationship with each other. Many boys are from Córdoba and I know them because we competed when we were little”, says Sosa.

“The nation can’t cover everyone’s expenses to get us to competeCurrently they can only help three people. So what I I am looking to do is be able to try to cover my own expenses”, says Tomas.

Judoka not only competes, it is also student of the career of National University Nutrition. “It correlates a lot with sport, because we have to be on very strict diets to compete,” he mentions in this regard.

And also, in order to cover their sports-related expenses, it offers judo classes at kempes park on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and also, in the castel franco school, Tuesdays and Thursdays. “It is an example of balance between sports and studies,” mention his relatives.
