One of the most notable symptoms is the tremor in the forearm and hands, but may also affect the head, eyelids, or other muscles. However, it rarely manifests in the legs or feet.

Essential tremor is common in the hands and arms.

For this reason, it is common for a person suffering from this condition to have difficulty holding small objects. Other physical manifestations that may occur are “tremulous sound” or emotion of the voiceas well as problems writing and drawing.

Essential tremor can come and go often worsens with age, stress, caffeine, lack of sleep, and use of certain medications. Also, it cannot affect both sides of the body.

Depending on the case, treatment is not usually necessary, but it is advisable to try techniques that help to relax stress in the event that it is related to situations of this type.
