What is the Leagues Cup, the tournament where Messi will debut with Inter Miami

Lionel Messi revolutionized the United States with his arrival in intermiami and after his official presentation last Sunday, now the whole world saved for his great debut with the shirt of The Garzas.

The premiere of the world champion in the franchise will be this friday july 21 against Cruz Azul at the DRV PNK Stadium at 9:00 p.m. (Argentine time), for the first date of the League Cup.

What is the Leagues Cup?

The Leagues Cup is a new North American tournament in which the MLS and the MX LEAGUE will pause their respective league seasons from July 21 to August 19 to determine the three clubs that will qualify for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup. The 47 first division clubs in Canada, Mexico and the US. they will compete in the official World Cup-style Concacaf tournament.
