Like Hollywood, next week’s Netflix releases will be very quiet, with just under a dozen new titles planned to drop over the course of the next seven days. Below, we’ll walk you through all the new movies, series, and games scheduled to hit the service.

The most anticipated Netflix releases this week

the deepest breath (2023)

coming to netflix: Wednesday

One of the two major new documentary releases scheduled for this week is the long-awaited A24-produced doc on deep-sea diving, which is sure to be popular given the recent news about the OceanGate Titan submersible implosion.

The one hour and 48 minute documentary follows a champion freediver and a safety diver who come together to pursue the dream of exploring the depths of the ocean.

sweet magnolias (Season 3)

Feel-good shows based on popular novels have grown in popularity in recent years on Netflix, and one of the headlining shows is sweet magnoliaswhich is now returning for the third year.

According to Netflix, this is what you can expect from the new season of Sweet Magnolias:

“After the fight at Sullivan’s, Maddie searches for the best way to help Cal and works to clear her own emotional path. Helen is faced with difficult decisions about the men in her life. And Dana Sue looks for a way to use the check from Miss Frances to help the community, without upsetting her family. The tire-cutter identity sends shockwaves through Serenity, retirement causes unintended consequences, and there are romantic surprises in every generation.
