workshops vs. River is played in Mendoza, next Wednesday

The Government of Mendoza conceded that Talleres – River will be played in the Argentine Malvinas, next Wednesdayat 9:30 p.m., in the framework of the round of 16 of the Argentine Cup.

The announcement was made by Federico Chiapetta, Undersecretary of Sports of Mendoza, who assured that the “T” will return to his province.

Talleres will play in Mendoza, where they played the final of the last edition against the Board of Paraná and he lost it 1-0 with a goal from Thiago Banega. He had previously been a finalist in the 2021 edition, but fell to Boca in a penalty shootout.

In this instance he will play against River, leader of the Professional League. Those led by Javier Gandolfi must play against Huracán this Friday and must win to force the “millionaire” to shout champion.

The capacity of the Malvinas Argentinas Stadium is approximately 42 thousand spectators distributed as follows: 11 thousand people in popular north, 11 thousand people in popular south, 8 thousand in east stalls and 12 thousand in west stalls.

The “mundialista” is located at the foot of the imposing Andes mountain range, in the heart of the General San Martín park, 3 kilometers from the downtown of the City of Mendoza. The measurements of the playing field are 106 meters long by 68 meters wide.
