Boca released a statement after the censorship complaint launched by Daniel Mollo

Daniel Mollo, a journalist who is a supporter of Boca, denounced an attempt at censorship that he suffered before the game in The Bombonera of the xeneize Before Defense and Justice. According to the media reporter selection mouth four people would like to get him out of the state broadcast booth for “not be aligned to the managementn”. Hours later, the club’s official website released a statement.

“What beautiful times those in which they could say what they wanted, that nobody was going to tell you anything,” he said when his radio broadcast began. “We got to the booth and there was a young lady that if I didn’t ask her to introduce herself, she didn’t introduce herself, and there were three young menone of whom is the son of a man who is responsible for a union of university teachers”, explained Mollo.

Mollo continued recounting what had happened: “The man, a big man, was looking at you from outside, and there was another call, a blond eugenio buscaglia and one more that did not speak. It was 10 minutes before the transmission began and they told us: We have come to warn you that we are going to remove the booth because you are not aligned with the management“.

In response to the complaint, from the cast blue and gold came out a deny the alleged squeeze and leave it clear that it will only be a transfer for different works in the Alberto J. Armando.

Boca’s full statement

One of the priorities of this Board of Directors, since its inauguration in December 2019, has been the permanent carrying out of works in the Bombonera, so that it continues to be a pride of Boca and a symbol of Argentine soccer worldwide.

Under this premise of constant remodeling, work will be carried out in the middle stalls that contemplate a reallocation of spaces in the desk sector and the renovated press booths. As a consequence of this, some media that make radio broadcasts from our stadium were relocated. The procedure, carried out by club personnel, was carried out following the usual procedures in these cases.

Boca Juniors will continue to receive all the people who come to carry out regular tasks at its facilities and will offer them, as usual, the greatest comfort so that they can carry out their work in the best conditions.

As always, our Press Department is available to solve any inconvenience arising from the coverage of events on our field.
