Fresh off its world debut at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023, Netflix has acquired run rabbit run, a horror thriller starring Succession’s Sarah Snook. The film, which was shot in Australia, recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and is already raving about reviews.

It’s one of several movies that Netflix is exclusively picking up from the American film production company for release with its two other big titles currently in development. Havoc and Code 8: Part II.

“Sarah Snook plays a fertility doctor who strongly believes in life or death, but after noticing her young daughter’s strange behavior, she must challenge her own values and confront a ghost from her past.”

As already announced, Succession star Sarah Snook plays the main role in run rabbit run. She is joined by her on-screen daughter. lily the tower as well as damon herriman (The Nightingale) and Emmy-winner greta scacchi (rasputin).

At the other end of the spectrum, Ed Gibbs of Times (UK) concluded:
“Reid’s beautifully shot film takes its time building to its inevitable climax, and some of the more familiar genre tropes feel a bit on the nose. But Snook wears the piece with gusto…”
As mentioned, the film has already made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival and was among several Netflix movies and documentaries that the streamer purchased or premiered at the festival. Other titles for 2023 included Fair play (confirmed to debut in 2023), Victim/Suspect, and the deepest breath.
Netflix has not announced the exact release date of run rabbit runbut it is planned that the the movie will hit the streamer in 2023.

Run Rabbit Run will be available on Netflix in most territories, with the notable exceptions being “Benelux, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Nordics, and Taiwan.”
