PSG appointed their captains and Lionel Messi is not on the list

Manage a campus like the one that has the psg It is not an easy task at all, not because of what each of the players can offer on the pitch, but because of the constant competition that is generated in who is the one that stands out above the rest.

This way, GaltierCoach of the Parisian team, his objective is to find harmony in his squad on the pitch to obtain results, but at the same time maintain that same harmony indoors and on a day-to-day basis in an imminent fight of egos.

As for egos, the team from the French capital has shown on more than one occasion the special care they deserve, kylian mbappe, one of its star figures. In another of the pampering for the forward of the French national team in the face of the incessant “threat” of the big teams in Europe that want to take the seven bravo in each transfer market, Mbappé was chosen as sub-captain to take the reins of the team in case marquinhosthe PSG captain is absent.

A request from Mbappé could give Messi an exit from PSG

“We decided at the beginning of the season that Kylian Mbappé should be the second captain. He stayed at PSG and deserves this bracelet in the absence of Marquinhos”, Galtier commented at a press conference after his team’s 7-0 victory against Pays de Cassel for the French Cup where Kylian wore the captain’s ribbon and dispatched with five goals.

Although Galtier’s statements presented his logic regarding the choice of mbappe as captain in the absence of Marquinhos, who responded was another of the team’s references, presnel kimpembe. The central defender, who knew to be the sub-captain, shared a message on social networks implying that neither the coach nor anyone else from the club informed him of that decision. In any case, the defender who debuted in 2014 with the PSG shirt, to become one of the figures over time after nine seasons, showed his respect for the club’s decision despite his astonishment.

Kimpembe’s statements caused a stir and that is why the same club came out to clarify the situation regarding the designated captains for a new season. As published by the French portals Le Parisien and RMC Sport, PSG clarified how the internal hierarchy of the team was defined. Marquinhos is the captain and four lieutenants were appointed for when the Brazilian defender is not there. they son mbappeKimpembe himself, the Italian Marco Verratti and… Sergio Ramos.

They yelled at Mbappé “come to Real Madrid” and his gesture angered PSG

Now, in that list figure does not appear Lionel Messi, a situation which also aroused certain doubts among fans. In this case, the absence of Leo can mean that he arrived at the Parisian team relatively recently, a situation that at the same time is contradictory with the presence of Ramos in the list of captains, since Messi and the former Real Madrid defender arrived in the same transfer window. This decision can be supported by the fact that Ramos was the captain in a glorious time for Madrid, as well as showing the necessary character to wear the tape.

Anyway, Galtier can keep calm that this situation will not get any worse, at least from Lionel Messi’s side, who always stayed out of this type of situation. As who says, the man from Rosario responds and speaks on the field, and in this decision of the club not to consider him in the list of captains will not be the exception.
