River plans to roof the Monumental: details of the work

River plans to continue renovating the Más Monumental. After the works that turned it off in the largest stadium in South America to be able to house 83,000 and that once the sector of the Belgrano Lower Lower capacity would reach 84,567. Now they plan another job at the stadium.

The main objective is to finish the works in the boxes of the Sívori and Centenario Medias, the 360° confectionery and the expansion of the parking lot. But another idea appeared: to roof the stadium.

The roof is planned, but until the really hard part of the stadium is finished, which has to do with the completion of the stands, improvement of all the available spaces in the stadium, including the current San Martín boxes, the parking lot that connects to the stadium through a bridge, only then are we going to evaluate it,” said Walter LanosaGeneral Manager of the club.

“When all that part of the work is finished, which is estimated to be by the end of 2024, I estimate that by September or October, from there we are planning the issue of the roof”advancement.
