Schiaretti rejects the pressures of JxC: there will be no announcement of the election date on February 1

The Cordovan governor Juan Schiaretti is not going to announce the date of the elections in Cordoba in his speech next Wednesday, when he opens the legislative sessions in that province. The issue had become a demand from Together for Change, where there are several currents that are fighting for the candidacy and without a precise date that volcanic internal climate is being strengthened, but the response that came to the opposition leaders from the Governor’s Office was blunt. : “In the February 1 speech there will be no mention of the date of the provincial election.”

“The call will be made within the terms in force in the legislation that governs the province of Córdoba, with an anticipation of 90 days as established and with a period between 180 and 60 days before the end of the mandate”, López affected the Cordovan press.

When asked about the claim of Together for Change to define the date of the election, López maintained that “in no way is Governor Schiaretti going to refer to his visit to the Legislature on February 1 when he is going to attend the opening of ordinary sessions of 2023”.

The JxC requests arose as a result of reports that ensured that the election would take place on May 7.

This Friday, references from Together for Changethrough a formal letter signed by the Radical Civic Union (UCR), the Republican Proposal (PRO) and the Civic Front local, they demanded that Schiaretti “define once and for all when to vote.”
