Tolosa Paz insisted that Alberto and Cristina “have to sit down”

The internship in the Frente de Todos deepens at the rate of the economic crisis and no solutions appear despite the proximity of the Elections 2023. However, some leaders try to bring positions closer between the president Alberto Fernandez and his vice, Cristina Kirchner, with irreconcilable differences in recent months. This is the case of Victoria Tolosa Paz, Minister of Social Development, who stressed the need for both running mates to “it felt like they did in May 2019”.

“The President and the Vice President have to sit down as they did in May 2019”, the official said this Wednesday, May 3. And she added: “It is impossible to think that we are going to be able to write the rules of the game if there is not a meeting between the two of them that determine how and in what way we go out on the field.”

“We are part of a political front that works every day to build a tool that allows to broaden participation and democratize the election of the candidates in all categories”, emphasized Tolosa Paz in dialogue with Two Voices (Tennessee) on the organization of the ruling party and remarked that “it is very healthy to work with that idea.”

“We are not discussing candidacies, we want to discuss a single candidate or various presidential formulas.” “We want the presidential formulas to be chosen by the Argentine peoplewe need to democratize our political front and work hard on the rules of the game”, Tolosa Paz explained.

Argentina has problems that are resolved that are in the hands of the President, the Vice President and the entire Cabinet. These are very critical weeks,” acknowledged the Minister of Social Development and assured that from the portfolio she directs “there is permanent monitoring of social policies.”

Despite the pressure exerted by different members of the Frente de Todos, and the complex economic situation, Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner have not yet met.

In this regard, the official said: “In April, after the reorganization of Potenciar Trabajo, we gave a bonus for the start of classes of 50% of the amount of Potenciar. Vulnerable families received 37,000 pesos plus 15 as a bonus, we gave an increase in Alimentary Card”.

Tolosa Paz insisted on the need for the Executive Power to address the problem of inflation, about which he pointed out that “it hits the sectors that do not have income more deeply,” and to recover wages. “They are part of the pending subjectswe want to improve living conditions and the Cabinet works for that,” he said.

“The anger of the Argentine people is logical”, said the official, recognizing that an economic context such as the current power the emergence of extremist positions. However, she clarified: “We don’t want that anger channeled into a vote seeking the destruction of our republic.institutions and the gaze of the State”.

Gabriel Katopodis insisted that he met with Alberto Fernández, Cristina Kirchner and Sergio Massa

Candidacies in Front of All

When asked about the rumors that he would compete for the governorship in the province of Buenos Aires, Rolosa Paz expressed that “It was not defined what the necessary electoral scheme for the province will be” and said that “there is no doubt that the strongest candidate is Governor Axel Kicillof, whom he accompanied.”

No one is superfluous in the Front of All. Each militant may not be identified with Kicillof’s management, and there are men and women who can represent the sum of ideas in any case,” he said, using Juan Grabois as an example, about whom he said that “he speaks to a sector that perhaps today as a minister she cannot give him answers”.

“The front needs to have a strategy. Nothing scares me, I don’t know how afraid someone can be of submitting to forty years of democracy, to the popular vote. It’s not that the solution is single list or STEP, that definition was not given yet. When it happens, the rules will be established and those who do not feel synthesized by Kicillof will go to a STEP ”, he concluded.
